You pay monthly or yearly for as long as the page is online. That is convenient while you are thinking about it. A wedding, though, is a date and not a permanent state, and after the celebration a subscription like that often keeps running until somebody cancels it.
The question to ask: what happens if we do nothing after the wedding?
The page itself is cheap or free, and the money is made on what runs through it: the gift registry, payouts, referred suppliers. You are not paying less — you are paying somewhere that does not appear on the pricing page.

Creating, designing and viewing your page in the live preview costs nothing and asks for no payment details. When you decide, you pay once for one year — invitations, RSVP, the gallery and the seating plan come with the package. After that the term ends automatically.
