Bilingual and multilingual

A wedding website for guests who don't all speak one language

Menus, buttons, the RSVP and every date appear in the language you invite in: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish or Turkish. Your own words you write just as you would say them to your guests.

What appears translated

What your guests see in their language

Everything that comes from us appears in the language the guest opens the page in.

Menus and buttons

Navigation, notes and every button on your page, from the schedule to the gallery.

The RSVP

The fixed fields of the reply form and the confirmation after sending.

Date and time

Every date is written the way it is usually written in the guest's language.

How it works

How each guest gets their language

The language travels with the invitation. A guest who receives the invitation in English lands on the English version of your page.

German
German guest view of the demo wedding: the RSVP form asks for a name and whether the guest will attend.
English
English view of the same demo wedding, with the same name and attendance questions.

Three steps

  1. Write your texts in both languages, for example English first and German below.
  2. Send each group of guests their invitations in their language: switch the language in your account before sending.
  3. If you share the link yourself, for example in a group chat, use the link in that group's language: it contains the language, for example …/de/… for German.

How the RSVP works
What you write yourselves

What we don't translate

So that nothing surprises you on invitation day:

Your own texts Welcome, schedule, directions and stories are yours to write. There is no automatic translation.
Your own questions Questions you add to the RSVP appear exactly as you write them, so ask them in both languages.
No language button on the page Guests don't switch the language on the page themselves. They get it through their invitation or the link you share.
Questions

Questions about a bilingual wedding website

Yes. Menus, buttons, RSVP and dates are available in eight languages. You write your own texts in both languages. Each group of guests gets its invitation in its language.

English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish and Turkish.

No. Everything that comes from us is translated. Your own texts and questions you write yourselves, ideally both languages one below the other.

Through their invitation: it goes out in the language you are working in, and its link leads to the matching version of your page. If you share the link yourself, use the one with the group's language.

The languages cost nothing extra. Creating and designing is free; sending the invitations is part of a package you pay for once.

Try it with your guest list

Create your page, write the welcome text in both languages and look at the page in the preview.

Design your page for free

No payment details. You only pay when you send the invitations.
